It is probably overkill, but I fabricated a rear strut tower brace.
I used the same mounts as for the front strut tower and the same 3/4" aluminum box. It is only the length that is different. Ther rear is just a little shorter.
As with the front brace, I made a plate for the bolts to go through so that it distributes the force across the entire top of the bar.
Otherwise I am afraid if I tighten it down too much it could squash the box.
